| Cairdeas Childcare, registered as Ballyhass Community Childcare Facility is a Community based purpose built Crèche, Pre-School, Montessori and School-Age Facility with a Purpose Built Outdoor Play Area opened for service to the Community on September 1st 2006. Cairdeas Childcare opening hours are Monday – Friday (8am – 6pm). Cairdeas Childcare is open all year around with the exception of Christmas where the facility will close for 1-2 weeks and for two weeks holidays in the summer months. Dates and times will be announced each year with the appropriate notice given. Cairdeas Childcare has documented Policies and Procedures to ensure a smooth, consistent running of the Childcare Facility using the best practices. Cairdeas Childcare is notified to the HSE as a pre-school service and has a satisfactory level of compliance with the Childcare (Per-School Services) (No.2) Regulations 2006. All visits and reports from the Pre-School Inspectors are available to view on request. Cairdeas Childcare is also registered as a Food Business Establishment. There is an Open Door policy within Cairdeas Childcare which means parents and guardians may call to the facility unannounced and observe their child. If it is a first visit and parents / guardians may require some time from the management of the facility an appointment is advised.
