Our school age club is a place for the children to unwind after their day at school. The activities are driven by the children, they input to what they do each day. They have a range of activities available to them such as outdoor play area, (always the favourite), computers, arts and crafts, books, music, board games, pool, air hockey, table soccer, table tennis, bowling etc. The carer will incorporate some projects of interest to the children during each term. The school age children have some time to do their homework but this is not a huge focus of the club, this is the choice of the parents. The children are offered a choice of a hot meal or a snack in the afternoon. We are located next door to Ballyhass National School and have off road access to the school. Children are dropped to the front door of the school each morning and are collected from the school each afternoon at 1.50pm and 2.50pm. The children do not have to go near the road or near any traffic en route. Children are dropped to the bus at 2.50pm each day if required. We run a summer camp for four separate weeks each summer for school age children. This is a varied programme which includes outings to local parks and facilities.![]() |
